Wana Navu Kava Bar
Est. 2022

Our team is an incredible source of information, inspiration, and dedication to everything Wana Navu Kava Bar stands for. We’re so happy to work in something that we love so much and invite you to learn more about us below.

Casey, originally from Eastern Tennessee, dedicated 24 years to the United States Military.  His career included 14 deployments and many achievements such as graduating Ranger School, joining Special Forces and being a Purple Heart Recipient among many others. He retired in 2020 but all the while he struggled with PTSD, anxiety and a sleep disorder. Casey was introduced to kava by his wife Chloé. Casey has learned through the years that kava helps soothe him, sleep better and stay chill.

Chloé, a South Florida native who now proudly calls Sanford, North Carolina home was first introduced to kava over 20 years ago. She immediately had a connection with the drink and talks to anyone and everyone (who will listen) about kava! Chloé has traveled to 63 countries and is happy to share all that she has tasted, seen and experienced with the Wana Navu Kava Bar patrons.

Casey and Chloé spoke many times about opening a kava bar but finally decided to take the plunge in the summer of 2022. Throughout the entire process one rule has stayed the same, to keep as many of the vendors local and support small businesses here in North Carolina! We invite you to join us for a shell of kava or your beverage of choice and experience a little bit of the South Pacific here in North Carolina. Bula!
